Youth Sailing 2023 » Youth Week

Youth Week is aimed at Year 7's and older, please do not confuse it with Kipper Week! There will be coached sessions and racing as well as some fun activities on the beach and on the field! The plan includes Fish and Chips Saturday, Easy pasta at the Club Sunday and BBQ on the Beach Monday. Youth's will have exclusive use of the Clubhouse on Sunday and Monday night. In order for the evening sessions to go ahead we need 2 parents (NOT Coaches!) to volunteer to organise the food and run the bar each night. Please PM Charlotte Varney (07786 261603) to volunteer for bar, food and cakes.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The Parent/Guardian Details booking form must be completed for each child that wishes to attend Youth Week, without this form we cannot guarantee their place.

One Parent/Guardian (adult) is required to be available for launch and recovery every day and be willing to assist the coaches as sufficient safety cover will be required.

Please ensure your child is signed in and out each day by yourself or an appointed adult and let the coach know the appointed adult for the day.

Adults supervising must bring their sailing kit including Buoyancy Aid and be prepared to go afloat when needed.
