Youth First Aid Taster; 5-10 year olds

This is a WSC completion certificate course for Youth sailors only aged between 5-10 years old. It covers a fun approach to CPR, applying bandages & slings, and working together to put someone in a recovery position.

This training will be 90% practical, and each child will come away with a small first aid manual and a certificate for attending the course.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

As with all Youth Training sessions, parents must stay on-site for the duration of the course. We suggest making use of the Bar area in Shore House.

The course will take place at Lobster Quay classroom. Please arrive at 08:50 ready to start promptly at 09:00. The course runs until 13:00.

Children should dress in suitable clothing, preferably trousers, as there will be practical sessions requiring some kneeling.
