SMS Saturday Morning Sailing

Saturday Morning Sailing, a free and fun sailing session with loose safety cover for those wishing to head out of the river to play and enjoy more time with like-minded sailors on the water.

Who's it for:
Open to all sailors who are capable of launching, sailing to Hamble Point, and returning unaided in the prevailing conditions.

The plan:

• Launch around 0930
• Meet at Cat Head or Bald Head 'zone' for 1000
• Enjoy around 2 hours of sailing
• Back ashore by roughly 1230

If the session leader and RIB crews are up for it, we'll drop a few marks and squeeze in some lighthearted racing for anyone who wants to play before heading in.

Each week will run via a dedicated WhatsApp group and will rely on the usual rib/dinghy ratios and volunteer crews. If club events like youth sailing need the ribs, we may need to tweak or skip a week, but we'll always give as much notice as possible.
