Micro Plastics Survey

Join us at the Sailing Club for an exciting citizen science event in partnership with Just One Ocean as part of the Big Microplastic Survey a global project aimed at collecting vital data on microplastics and mesoplastics in our waterways. We'll meet at the Club at 14:00, where up to 20 participants will be split into small teams of 4 and move to the beach at the Point. All equipment and instructions will be provided on the day, and the simple, hands-on process involves using everyday items like rope, a small spade, bucket, and sieve. Help protect our oceans and be part of real environmental research!
